Alexis Jones works at the intersection of strategy and research as a Policy Analyst at Alankok. As a BIPOC Consumer Advocate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Spelman College, she has studied the relationships between food security, access, purchasing behavior, and nutrition against demographics like race, health, and socioeconomic status. She is interested in expanding public knowledge of non-GMO food literacy, security, and consumption and its effects on physical and mental health to influence consumer perception and buy-in, with a goal to impact agricultural and commodity policy outcomes in the coming years. In her free time, Alexis enjoys traveling, food tourism, hiking, and waterside dinners with friends.
