Complaints and appeals

Product Verification Program participants wishing to contest a determination or decision are invited to submit an official Complaints and Appeals Form.

Please use our Contact Us page for matters not directly related to our official Complaints and Appeals Form for Participants in our Product Verification Program.

 

A Non-GMO Project complaint includes:

  • An objection by a Participant to a decision taken by the Project.
  • Complaints about evaluation decisions by entities that provide services under the PVP, such as Technical Administrators, after being pursued via the respective entity’s complaint procedure and when the complaint is not resolved to the satisfaction of the complainant or the complaint is not investigated and conclusions communicated to the complainant within two (2) months of submission of the complaint/appeal to the Technical Administrator.
  • The determination of what constitutes an Non-GMO Project complaint is at the Project’s sole discretion.
To submit a complaint, Participants must answer the questions below. An acknowledgment of the receipt of a Non-GMO Project complaint will be provided by Non-GMO Project to the complainant within three (3) business days of receipt of the Non-GMO Project complaint.
Non-GMO Project will provide the complainant with a written response to the complaint.
 

If a Non-GMO Project complaint is not addressed to the satisfaction of the complainant, the complainant has an option to submit a Non-GMO Project appeal.

To submit an appeal, appellants must answer the questions below. An acknowledgment of the receipt of the Non-GMO Project appeal will be provided by Non-GMO Project to the appellant.

Non-GMO Project will provide the appellant with a written response which is final and binding.
