Kristin is excited to bring her communications, community organizing, and public relations experience to her role as Communications Manager at the Non-GMO Project. Originally hailing from the Bay Area, food has played a central theme throughout Kristin’s life, connecting her to family, friends, and new communities. Kristin has a passion for protecting the right to choose what we consume. She looks forward to amplifying the voice of the Project and ensuring everyone has access to clear and comprehensive research to make an informed choice.
Prior to joining the Project, Kristin worked in Public Affairs for the National Park Service. Additionally, Kristin brings a background in coalition building and social justice organizing from her work with Greenpeace, Stand.earth, and the Institute at the Golden Gate.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Geography from Gustavus Adolphus College. In her spare time, Kristin can be found cooking, paddling on the nearest body of water, or attempting a crossword puzzle.
