Camille Boushey holds a MSc degree in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington.
Growing up amid the orchards and vineyards of Eastern Washington, Camille gained an early appreciation for the importance of agricultural development for a sustainable future. This interest led her to work for Precept Wine in Seattle, Washington in promoting Washington wine to retailers, distributors, and consumers alike through a spectrum of marketing channels. Camille’s interest in agriculture continued as a graduate student, where she chose to focus her dissertation on the agricultural policies of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as they relate to food security and women’s economic empowerment.
Most recently, Camille worked with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle to help advance breakthroughs in cancer research and a host of infectious diseases through community organizing and marketing efforts. Camille looks forward to bringing her range of experience in marketing and communications to build a healthy and sustainable food supply for
generations to come.
In her free time, Camille enjoys spending her time running, traveling, boating in the San Juan Islands, and creative writing.
