For the first 18 months that enrollment in the Product Verification Program (PVP) is open (until October 2009), no public verification claims are being allowed. This transition period was created to ensure an opportunity to refine the program based on stakeholder input, and to offer an equal chance for all Participants to enroll and achieve compliance.

During the initial transition period, the Project is allowing Participation Claims. A list of Participating Products is on this website, and are also made available to retailers via UNFI Monthly Specials Catalogues, our Facebook page and Retailer e-Newsletter, and other industry publications.
