Earnest Eats, creators of whole food happiness, announces its entire line of Hot & Fit Cereals are now Non-GMO Project Verified. Featuring a powerful trio of superfood grains including whole oats, amaranth and quinoa, all ingredients in the Hot & Fit Cereals have been verified as using ingredients that are non-GMO (genetically modified organisms). After completing the Non-GMO Project’s Product Verification Program, Earnest Eats Hot & Fit Cereals will now carry the Non-GMO Project Verification label on the single-serve cups and multi-serve canisters.
“We created our Hot & Fit hot cereals to put more ‘health’ in a healthy breakfast with our nourishing combination of superfood grains – oats, quinoa and amaranth – plus whole food nuts, seeds and dried fruits, for more protein and fiber than plain oatmeal,” said Andrew Aussie, president and founder of Earnest Eats. “Now we’re taking ‘earnest-ness’ to the next level by working in tandem with the Non-GMO Project to verify our ingredients are all non-GMO, giving breakfast eaters everywhere more peace of mind.”
The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s only independent verification for products made according to rigorous best practices for GMO avoidance. Earnest Eats Hot & Fit Cereals are produced in compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard, which includes ongoing testing of all GMO risk ingredients, facility inspections and an annual audit to ensure that companies are meeting the highest possible standards for GMO avoidance.
“We are proud to work with Earnest Eats as they work to verify their entire line of products,” said Courtney Pineau, Assistant Director, Non-GMO Project. “When shoppers see this mark on a product, they can trust it’s been made in compliance with our rigorous standard.”
Earnest Eats Hot & Fit Cereals enrich and energize busy mornings with satisfying superfood grains, which have been cultivated for centuries because of their superior protein, fiber and phytonutrient properties. The superfood grains are blended with other superfood ingredients from around the globe, like dark cocoa, matcha green tea, mango, blueberries and pepitas.
